AGE GROUPING
Dr. Montessori felt that the children
were less inhibited when learning from their peers. There
is mutual respect among the children, such as lack of competitiveness
that allows them to learn from each other.
Montessori children are problem solvers
who readily deal with change and challenges. Encouraged to
make decisions from an early age, they develop independence,
and good self-esteem, which enables a smooth transition into
private or public environment.
